Curtains for a cause

Welcome to Curtains for a Cause, a Capital City Playhouse benefit that over the years has benefitted not for profit organizations and programs such as the  Brian Jackson Dystonia Research & Discovery Program at FSU College of Medicine, Character & Heritage Institute, Ability First and various other worthwhile charities!

"Are We There Yet?"

"Are we there yet"

ARE WE THERE YET? is a roller coaster ride through the lives of modern American families. This merry musical romp includes everything from hysterical family car trips and mothers praying for hits at their sons' baseball games to fathers sitting through ballet lessons. This lively musical portrays the love and challenges of the old adage, "You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family." One thing is for sure, you will definitely relate to this family musical and "enjoy the ride!"

Toledo Blade - The show is like the next step after I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change.

The Republican - Touching on many points in the circle of modern life, it's funny, poignant and perceptive and includes some great singing and dancing.

Dallas Morning News - You could call it the parents' edition of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! The first act deals with families with young children; the second portrays grown children's struggles with the 'parents.
